About this song
The song's beat is heavily similar to the one in "Cum on Everybody" from The Slim Shady LP. Eminem has said the track came together one day when the crew was just messing around, and that he wrote all three verses in about twenty minutes. In the clean version of the album, the word "drug" was removed from the title.
What it's about
The song looks back on a period when Eminem was constantly high and life felt like one big party, and it covers his love-hate relationship with alcohol, solvents, ecstasy and other substances. It ends with his sobriety after he left rehab in 2008.
