About this song

The song's beat was described by Eminem in a Shade 45 interview on December 15th as one of his favorite beats ever, and he said the darkness of the beat pushed him toward evil lyrical content. The track's sound and his tone are linked to his 2009 Relapse era. Eminem has released several horrorcore rap songs over his career, with "3 a.m." and "Kim" among the most notable.

What it's about

The song is set in a fictional scenario where Eminem is detained for murder because his lyrics happen to match a murder scene under investigation. He points out that he never imagined describing a murder in a verse could lead to a first-degree murder charge.
