Just Don't Give A Fuck

About this song

Eminem wrote the song while staying at his mother's house, around the time his daughter Hailie was born. He has said it came after pressures such as providing for his daughter, his living situation and unpaid rent had built up, and it was the second song in which people close to him reacted with surprise. The track first appeared on the Slim Shady EP and was later repackaged with an altered instrumental for his debut solo album.

What it's about

The song expresses Eminem's frustration and feeling of having had enough as the stress of fatherhood, money trouble and his living situation piled up. It also reflects a period when he turned to drugs and drinking.
