About this song
Killshot was a diss track released eleven days after Machine Gun Kelly's "RAP DEVIL," which itself answered Eminem's "Not Alike" from his August 2018 album Kamikaze. The track was discussed during Eminem's four-part interview with Sway. Eminem had been targeting Machine Gun Kelly since 2012, after inappropriate Twitter comments about his daughter Hailie Jade, and the second part of the Sway interview credits Machine Gun Kelly's subliminal disses on Power 106 and Tech N9ne's "No Reason" with inspiring him to respond.
