What it's about
The song is read as a metaphor for the weight and pressure that fame places on an artist, with Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan as examples and Eminem himself included. In this reading, the Slim Shady character stands for the destructive power of celebrity, and the violent imagery reflects Eminem's feelings of being violated and isolated by fame.
