About this song
Sing For The Moment was the fourth single from Eminem's fourth studio album, The Eminem Show. It became an international hit, reaching the top 10 in several countries and peaking at number 14 in the US in May 2003. The track interpolates Aerosmith's Dream On, with guitarist Joe Perry playing the guitar solo near the end, and it samples drums from Titanic's I See No Reason.
What it's about
The song addresses Eminem's influence on young people around the world. He also touches on his altercation with a bouncer, John Guerra, whom he says he punched rather than pistol whipped, as Guerra had claimed.
