Superman

About this song

The song is part of Eminem's run of tracks expressing anger toward his ex-wife Kim Mathers. The title likely alludes to the classic image of Superman rescuing women, which Eminem rejects by describing himself as the opposite of that character.

What it's about

The song argues that men should not rush in to rescue women with serious personal problems and should let them handle those issues themselves. Eminem presents himself as a hardened realist who refuses the Prince Charming role and wants to build his own sense of meaning rather than depend on a woman for it.
