About this song
"The Way I Am" is the second single from The Marshall Mathers LP and was also included on the 2005 compilation Curtain Call: The Hits. It was recorded before "The Real Slim Shady", as the record company pressed Eminem to make a poppier first single for the album. Danny Lohner remixed the song featuring Marilyn Manson, who has performed it live with Eminem on stage.
